IEB Headquarters is located nearby Shahbagh. From Shabagh go along the road towards Shishu Park(childrens Park) along with Sohrawrdi Uddan(Suhrawardy Park). On the other side, it is close to Motsho Bahaban(Firsheries Dept Building) near Kakrail Mosque and just opposite to Ramna Park.

At IEB Headquartes, in front just by the road Engineering Staff College Bangladesh(ESCB) building with Mercantile Bank ATM and auditorium are located. On the backside, the new building is located. Upon entering, there is inner stair. You may go up using that stair and on the 2nd Floor on the right you will see big ERC sign in the glass door.  The conference registration booth, inaugural ceremony, keynote-invited talks sessions, technical sessions, closing ceremony will be held there. Lunches and tea will be provided from ERC cafeteria located here too. There is a lounge with sofas for relaxing in between ERC Conference Room and ERC Cafeteria. Washrooms are located on the left side of ERC cafeteria. On the 1st floor, meeting room of Dhaka Centre is located where technical sessions, invited talks, workshop will be held. Prayer room is located just on the right side of the entrance.

CNG driven Autorickshaws

For CNG driven autorickshaws, there is an official rate but due to traffic jams, expect to pay double of that. CNG Auto-rickshaw passengers will be paying Tk40 for the first two kilometres of travel, , and Tk12 for the following kilometres each,  and waiting charge of Tk2 per minute for travel intermissions.


If you come by Bus you may get off at Shahbagh or Motsho Bahaban(Firsheries Dept Building)/ Ramna park main gate, Kakrail near Tabligh mosque. Here goes the names of some bus operators going through the above stops: BRTC AC service from Motijheel to Abdullapur, Airport Bangabandhu Avenue route, Omama bus, Anik, Gazipur Paribahan. If you come by VIP counter service bus, you may get off at New Market or Azimpur and take a rickshaw to IEB.
